Yes, I agree… that’s quite a mouthful but if there’s one thing I’ve learnt over the years is that everyone is different and therefore requires (and deserves) individual care when it comes to something as important as cosmetic surgery.
A procedure such as a rhinoplasty can be life changing and before you even get to the operating table there will be a number of questions and concerns to address. We understand it’s a big decision and offer our patients a concierge style service from start to finish to ensure you feel supported, educated and empowered to make the decision that is right for you.
It’s not just about the intricacies of the actual procedure either, it also comes down to genetics and how well your body heals and repairs itself. Again, everyone is different and that is why we offer a tailored pre operative and post operative health and skin care plan at Face Plus Medispa, to ensure your body is ready from the inside out.
For rhinoplasty procedures, we offer a pre and post medication pack that includes a careful selection of the most effective pain relief, antibiotics, nasal sprays, immune boosters, and supplements to ensure a speedy recovery and minimise bruising and swelling.
Following the surgery, we have found our Hydrating Enzyme Facial to be very beneficial around three weeks post-op as it rehydrates and balances the skin and incorporates a special nasal massage to encourage lymphatic drainage and reduce swelling.
It’s not all about pills and peels though. With seemingly never-ending advances in the non-surgical arena, we also have cosmetic technology at our disposal that can be utilised to further optimise results.
We’re extremely proud to be able to offer a variety of treatments that complement cosmetic procedures post-operatively to aid recovery and Omnilux light therapy is a great example of this! Omnilux is a non-invasive treatment that uses LED light to stimulate collagen production and cellular activity. It has three light colour settings that focus on achieving different results:
Red – Adds volume, plumps fine lines and stimulates cells.
Blue – Targets bacteria and inflammation and is often used on patients who suffer from acne.
Yellow – Strengthens tissue on a deeper level, great for healing scars.
We often use the yellow and red setting in our after care package as it stimulates the healing process, reduces inflammation, bruising and swelling, making it ideal for people who have just had surgery. However, our professional practitioners will always aim to give you optimum results based on your own needs and may alternate between the settings to help achieve this.

Although we have used rhinoplasty as an example, it can also be tailored to other cosmetic procedures we offer such as blepharoplasty and thread lifts.
Our post op packages includes six sessions of Omnilux, an enzyme facial, lymphatic massage and supplements and medications. Package costs vary, dependent on what procedure is performed and what medication/supplements are required. Post-Operative Package Costs – $650-$750.
