Dear patients and colleagues, following a directive from the ENT society our practice will continue, but with some changes.
We are happy to consult all patients as per usual, but can only see emergency patients face to face.
‘Emergency’ we define as significant breathing or airway problems, acute bleeding issues and cancer or suspected cancer.
We are happy to consult all other patients via telemedicine. This means phone calls or video consulting.
Medicare has provided new item numbers for theses consults and all will be bulk billed.
Please dial 000 in an emergency, and follow COVID-19 protocols if you or a family member are unwell.
