The ‘Paris Pout’ also known as the ‘Paris Lip’ technique is a simple procedure using Dermal Fillers (Hyaluronic Acid) performed to create a voluptuous appearance to the lips.

The Paris Pout or Lip technique is created by outlining the border of the upper lip and highlighting the vertical ridges between the lip and nose. It does not include ‘plumping’ the fleshy part of the lip itself, yet this can be done per patient request to fill the area lacking volume.

The Paris Pout / Lip Technique
Step 1.Dermal filler (Hyaluronic Acid) is placed along the border of the upper lip to define the lip area
Step 2.  The “cupid’s bow” area is accentuated with a distinctive “V” shape.
Step 3. The vertical ridges between the upper lip and nose are built up, creating distinctive peaks that are the signature of the Paris Pout/Lip.
Step 4. Lastly, a few short outlines beneath the lower lip add definition and balance the overall effect.
